We believe it’s important to take care of yourself, and that people with addictions often neglect food and nutrition, making it harder for them to think and act rationally.|We believe that food and nutrition are crucial to the intervention process, because a healthy body and healthy mind, fuelled by the right nutrition, are more able to adapt to the challenges of addiction treatment.|Nutrition and food are important in our recovery program, as they provide residents with better fuel for the body and mind, and, we believe, facilitate more rational thinking.|We believe that when you neglect nutrition you often develop bad mental habits, as well as having the wrong nutrition fuelling your body and mind, and therefore we focus on food and nutrition as part of our treatment regime.|People with addictions frequently neglect themselves, and we encourage excellent food and nutrition throughout our treatment programs in order to create a healthier body and a healthy mind.
