About Free Boiler Upgrade

Established November 2024

Free Boiler Upgrade helps UK households find out whether they may be eligible for a fully funded boiler replacement through the ECO4 scheme or their council's LA Flex route. The check is free and takes a few minutes, and it gives clear next steps whichever way the answer goes. Homeowners and private tenants can apply, subject to eligibility and survey. ECO4 measures must be installed by 31 December 2026.
