The Wholeleaf Co. have created natural and sustainable palm leaf plates, palm leaf bowls and wooden cutlery made from nothing but naturally fallen Indian palm leaves. They transform the leaf into a disposable plate, bowl or platter by washing it in locally sourced spring water and then heat press it into shape. It's a renewable material as almost 60 billion palm leaves fall to ground in India every year. There are no chemicals, resins, agents or glues used in their products, just the leaf and therefore once used are perfect for composting, making them great for the environment and also supports rural workers in India who help to make them. The company supplies their products to smaller retailers, market stall holders as well as being tableware distributors providing tableware for events, tableware for weddings, tableware for chefs, tableware for caterers and tableware for private parties. Even if you are not planning an event or using the products commercially, the palm leaf plates and bowls are also an excellent addition for any environmentally friendly families and are perfect tableware for picnics.
