Company Story
Monarch Transport began trading in 1989 however, the current business is very different to what it was when it first opened over 30 years ago. In 2018 John Weir & Derek Anderson took over the business and for the first time since 1989 the Monarch had new owners at the helm.
Although the business was a well establish well known business to its customers as you’d expect from a business operating for best part of three decades, the business was stuck in the past using outdated technology and it offered 1 ridge truck, the rest of the work was outsourced to subcontractors.
The pair set about transforming the business by upgrading and modernising it entirely. They overhauled the offices, improving staff facilities and created an appealing environment to host clients and events. The old branding was overhauled and modernised creating an eye catching new look. Experts where brought in and they began marketing the business online and own their own trucks and trailers now displayed the new branding. New technology was and continues to be heavily invested in, improving business efficiency and customer experience. A brand new extensive fleet of vehicles and trailers where bought to support the companies growth, and to meet the needs of the expansive customer base it supports across the UK. Three depots where created across the UK to support customers and ensure Monarch could offer a best value logistics solution.
